My formal training in carnatic music started
at the age of 5 under the tutelage of
Shri. Vaigal Gnanaskandan, Producer of All India Radio, Madras
(Retd.), and one of the foremost disciples of Semmangudi Srinivasa
Iyer.
I have also learnt under Sri M.A Venugopal who is also a disciple
of Semmangudi
Sri Srinivasa Iyer.

| Repertoire: |

| My concert repertoire includes compositions of several
Vaggeyakaras in different languages. Predominantly Trinity oriented,
I have also widely ventured into compositions of other composers
like Papanasam Sivan, Gopalakrishna Bharathi, Ambujam Krishna, Dandapani
Desigar, Swathi Tirunal, Jayadeva, Narayanatheertha, and Purandaradasar
to name a few.
My strengths have been in the areas of alapana and manodharma singing.

Starting at the age of 9, I have been a regular performing
artist in all music festivals organized by prestigious institutions
in India and Singapore. Some important festivals include December
Music season in Chennai, Ramanavami, Vinayaka Chathurthi, Navarathiri,
Krishna Jayanthy, and music/dance festival organized by Singapore
Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS).
