My first public concert was at the
age of 9 for Children's Academy in Mylapore. I started performing
regularly in the December concerts from the year 1992 and ever
since, I have been performing in prestigious institutions all
over India and in Singapore. Being an A-grade artist of All India
Radio, I have remained a regular feature in the December music
season as well as other festivals like Ramanavami, Navarathri,
Gokulashtami, and so on. I have also been featured regularly in
popular T.V channels and AIR.
On the academics side, I hold a Bachelor
of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a Management
degree. I'm currently employed with a leading multi-national bank
in Singapore. Apart from music, my interests include Formula 1
and Cricket. Like most Indian fans, I follow Michael Schumacher
and Sachin Tendulkar. I play cricket regularly, and play for the
league. I try not to miss a single F-1 race!
To be a professional musician and a
corporate executive has always been challenging to me. Like all
other musicians with dual careers, I continue to do the balancing
act giving my best to both. I consider myself lucky and blessed
to have such good parents, a supportive wife, understanding family
members and friends, who have helped me achieve this to the best
of my abilities. I would like to express gratitude to my family,
guru, and friends without whose support I couldn't have reached
so far. And of course, I should thank all the rasikas who have
always been a source of inspiration to me.
